March 4 - Lucky

I had thought of looking for a four leaf clover for this day last month but was not lucky. Haha.  So I look into what I have and I could say I am lucky to have a husband who loves me.  Oh yeah, it is not perfect but at the end of the day I am grateful for having someone like him in my life.  In case you are wondering, this is a make up session for me from March photo a day challenge.

April 4 - This Happened Today

I am having a busy day.  I was racking my brain what out of the ordinary thing I am experiencing.  There was nothing much really to highlight and so it was only this time that I could say that what happened today was the rain.  Summer has just started and temperature is quite high at 32-34 Celsius.  It was refreshing to hear the rain drops outside the house.  Even if it was already 9PM, I went out and took a picture of the rain or the pavement that is wet with rain.

March 3 - Key

On this day in March, I was able to take a picture of some car keys but decided to discard them.  So I have a better one - in my opinion at least – of a ‘key’ image.  There is just something about kids stuff that gives them the adorable factor, don’t you agree?  Here is my take on key:

April 3 - Something Beginning With A

I have two pictures for today and still cannot decide which one is better.  I was stuck with ‘apple’ but there’s no apple to photograph and I actually had to ask Google on things that start with A around the house.  That’s where I got stuck with two options: toy Airplanes and Alphabet.

Since the kids were playing outside I went ahead and took a photo of their airplane collection.  For the alphabet, I waited for my eldest son, Hammie to arrange the letters according to his preference.  Yes, he is kind of OC like that, like me.  After he arranged it, I captured it and that’s my second photo.  Hammie wanted to take a picture of the alphabet so I let him.  I liked his photo with the tips of his feet and a tip of his little brother’s foot.  A budding artist I believe.

March 2 - I Made This

For this day’s prompt, I could think of a lot of food that I can share that I cooked or baked.  Then I remembered that as a stage mom (yes, I am there every time my kids perform :)) who wants to spend little on costumes for school activities for the kids, I made one for my son’s United Nations celebration.

Did I mention that I hand sewn this costume?  Yup, the bottom one was easy since it followed the pajama pattern.  But the top part was a bit time consuming.  I am not so confident when it comes to tops.  My fingers were sore after and the stress I put upon myself was high I did get sick after.  So much for saving on a ready-made costume and getting myself sick in the process.

Looking back though, I did have fun.  I know I’ll be making more costumes in the future and other sewing projects but with a sewing machine already.

March 1 - L is for... leopard print

I’m making up for the last month’s photo a day challenge since I was not able to post any.  Although the first days of March I did take pictures but they were left inside the memory card.  So here is my way of catching up.  Instead of one photo a day, I’m doing two: one for March and one for April.  When I thought about this prompt last month, what came into mind is the leopard print.

April 2 - Blue

As it is summertime here in the Philippines, all I could think of is the blue sky.  It did rain for a little while yesterday (thankfully!)  I wish the picture is complete with the blue waters of the beach though.  But I guess I have to be satisfied with the clear blue sky – for now.

April 1 – Play

I’m back to the photo a day challenge!  I had to absorb myself in finishing a project before getting back to this.  So for today’s prompt, it says play.  Although I did have a lot of opportunity to capture my kids in any play that they were doing today, I was still doing some final touches with my personal project.  I ended up with their favorite toy, which is a bouncy ball.
