My Mom's Flower Garden

My mother loves to grow flowers that wherever she may be, after some time there will be a little garden growing with a variety of flora.  She depicts the literal meaning of 'bloom where you are planted'.  From the ordinary garden flowers to the exotic orchids, she has them in her garden.  When she sees something that interests her in a garden of a house she visits, she asks for a seedling or a plant part (or whatever you call them those cut parts that can be planted as well) so she could have one.

I had the opportunity to shoot the blooms this day as we were having a family gathering.  I was done with my photo a day with today's prompt 'guilty pleasure' and was looking for other subjects.  You can check my photo a day images here or if you want to join this challenge you can visit the source here.

Oh, these are not flowers but the color fo the leaves were lovely so I included it.
