January 2 – Something New

The photo of the day today is about something new.  Thinking of what to capture was not easy since most of the day was spent with the kids in our room.  The ground floor smelled paint and I don’t want them to be exposed to the toxic odor as Louie is asthmatic and I have sinusitis. 

My only hope was the get together with my cousins later that day singing the night away while others are playing billiards.  The time agreed on was 3PM and since hubby is back to work, I could only say that we will follow if we can.  Fortunately, they started around 5PM already and we were able to go by 6PM. 

Although we had karaoke nights before, this is the first time that my cousins hang out at Loreto’s and sing our favorite songs and played billiards against each other.  This is also the first time that my kids went along in this kind of outing.  Instead of just one photo of the day – it was hard to decide – I got more to share as photos of the day.  So much for worrying what to capture for today.
